Certifications & Compliance, Documented Per Order

In apparel, real certification lives in paperwork tied to your production — not in logos on a homepage. Here’s exactly what standards we manufacture to, what documentation your order can carry, and how to verify all of it.

Standards We Work To

Three layers matter: what the fabric is certified as, how the facility is audited, and how your order is inspected.

Our facility — certified

BSCI — Business Social Compliance Initiative

This is the certification we hold. BSCI is an audited social-compliance standard covering wages, working hours, safety, and workers' rights at the facility producing your order. Audit documentation is shared during quoting so you see the actual report rather than a badge.

Fabric / supply chain — we are NOT certified

GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard

The benchmark for organic fibre, documented with transaction certificates from a certified mill through to your production lot. We are not GOTS certified and cannot supply that certificate chain. We can source organic cotton, but without the chain of custody you cannot lawfully market the finished garment as certified organic — so if that claim matters to your brand, you need a GOTS-certified factory.

Fabric / supply chain — we are NOT certified

GRS — Global Recycled Standard

Verifies recycled content plus social and chemical requirements in processing, travelling with your order as transaction certificates. We are not GRS certified. We can source recycled-content fabric, but we cannot document it to GRS, so a "certified recycled" claim is not one your order can carry.

Fabric safety — we are NOT certified

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

Certifies that fabrics and trims are tested free of harmful levels of restricted substances. We do not hold OEKO-TEX certification and do not guarantee Standard 100 fabric. If your market requires it, tell us at quoting and we will be straight about whether we can meet it.

Facility — we are NOT certified

WRAP and ISO

Both come up in buyer questionnaires, so to be unambiguous: we hold neither. Our facility certification is BSCI. If a retailer mandates WRAP or ISO, we are not currently the right factory for that order and we will tell you rather than let it surface at the audit stage.

Your order

AQL 2.5 final inspection

Every order passes a final random inspection to AQL 2.5, the retail-apparel standard, documented in a photo report you receive before shipment. This is a per-order quality gate, not a certificate on a wall.

Independent verification

Third-party inspection & audits

SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, QIMA — commission any inspector at any stage and we coordinate access and scheduling. For many buyers, an independent pre-shipment inspection is the strongest trust signal there is, and we actively encourage it.

Get the Documentation Pack for Your Order

Tell us the claims you want to make and the retailers or marketplaces you need to satisfy. With your quote, we’ll confirm in writing which documents your order will carry:

  • BSCI social-compliance audit documentation for the producing facility
  • Commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin for your broker
  • AQL 2.5 final inspection photo report (every order, as standard)
  • Lab test reports (GSM, shrinkage, colorfastness) on request
  • Third-party inspection coordination — SGS, Intertek, BV, QIMA

Our anti-greenwashing promise

We will never encourage you to print a claim your paperwork can’t back. If a certification isn’t achievable for your order, we’ll say so and quote what it would take to get there. Read our greenwashing guide.

Common Questions

Why don't you just display certificate badges on your website?

Because a badge without paperwork is exactly how greenwashing happens. Certification in apparel is specific: fabric certificates belong to mills, audit reports belong to facilities, and organic/recycled claims require transaction certificates tied to your production lot. We provide the actual documents relevant to your order during quoting — verifiable, current, and specific.

How do I verify the documents you send?

Our BSCI audit report carries a reference number you can verify through the BSCI platform. That is the certification we hold, and it is the one document of that kind we can give you. We will point you to the verification route for every document we share — and if we cannot produce a document, we will say so instead of describing one.

Can my order be produced in a certified facility?

It will be produced in a BSCI certified facility — ours. If you need certification beyond that (GOTS chain of custody, GRS, OEKO-TEX, WRAP, ISO), we do not hold it and cannot arrange it, so we are not the right factory for that particular requirement. Tell us at quoting and we will give you a straight answer before you invest time in sampling.
