Why sourcing locally changes your cost base

Bangladesh has a deep domestic knit mill base, which is the main reason knit garments cost what they do here. Fabric bought locally avoids import duty and weeks of inbound freight, and lets us re-order mid-season without a container lead time. Woven fabric is more often imported, which is why woven lead times run longer — we tell you which category your style falls into before you plan a launch date.

What we source

If your spec calls for something not listed here, ask — the mill base is broader than any short list.

• Knits: single jersey, interlock, rib, piqué, French terry, brushed fleece, slub, waffle.
• Wovens: poplin, twill, oxford, canvas, ripstop, flannel.
• Blends: CVC, TC, tri-blend, spandex-blended stretch knits and wovens.
• Performance: recycled and virgin polyester, moisture-wicking and mesh constructions.
• Organic and recycled-content: organic cotton and recycled polyester or cotton blends. Note these are sourced uncertified — we cannot supply a GOTS, GRS, or OEKO-TEX certificate chain.

Every lot is tested before cutting

Fabric is the single largest source of bulk-quality failure, and almost all of it is detectable before a garment is sewn. Incoming lots are checked against the approved standard for GSM, dimensional stability after wash, colorfastness to washing and rubbing, and pilling. A lot that misses spec is rejected at the mill, not discovered on your inspection report.

• Shrinkage tested after wash so your point-of-measure survives the first laundry cycle.
• Colorfastness to washing, rubbing, and light where the market requires it.
• Lab dips and bulk swatches sent for your written approval before cutting.
